Born in small-town Iowa, I grew up surrounded by the values of hard work and dedication. As the son of a fourth-generation water well driller, I witnessed the tireless commitment of my family to provide water to businesses and farms, instilling in me a deep sense of responsibility from an early age.

At 17, I embarked on a transformative journey in the United States Navy, serving on fast attack submarines and delving into satellite communications research. I was 20 when a pivotal moment occurred - discovering "Dr. Deming, The American Who Taught the Japanese about Quality" by Raphael Aguayo. This encounter sparked my passion for statistical process control and the crucial role of leadership in cultivating a culture of quality.

In 2001, I started my journey by implementing a several ISO 9001 quality management systems at Pearson, marking the beginning of an extensive career in quality management. Throughout the years, I've navigated various facets of quality leading teams in ISO 9001, six sigma, lean methodologies, statistical process control, supplier quality management, and auditing.

In 2013, I embraced a new challenge as a Program Manager; helping project teams to deliver exceptional results for our customers. During my tenure, we were able to find over $850,000 in cost savings while improving revenue and margin.
